AMECO, headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, U.S., is a global logistical solutions company providing services to international construction, mining, government and industrial markets. With offices around the world, AMECO is involved in major construction and mining operations in Chile, Peru, Argentina and South Africa.
AMECO was founded in 1947 as part of Daniel Construction, a regional contractor based out of South Carolina. Incorporated in 1971, they, along with their parent company, were acquired by the Fluor Corporation in 1977. In 2003 the South African firm, AfriTool was brought under the AMECO umbrella. 
With offices around the world, AMECO is involved in major construction and mining operations in Chile, Peru, Argentina and South Africa. 
They are one of the 10 largest companies in Jamaica under their North American/Caribbean regional operations; they service mining and construction operations throughout Latin America under their AMECO Chile subsidiary while AMECO South Africa services petrochemical, mining and power markets in Africa.
AMECO Middle East provides a variety of tools, vehicles and equipment rental services mainly in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. "We have a huge presence in Iraq, which is where the majority of our Middle Eastern work is located," stated Kevin Minton, AMECO vice-president of business development.

• Site Services: provides mobile equipment, tools, site planning, equipment maintenance, and supplies for capital construction projects.
• Fleet Outsourcing: provision of mobile equipment fleet operations.
• Equipment Distribution: focuses on equipment renters and buyers in Latin America and Canada.
