"Alice is a manager at the Money Advice Service, responsible for developing propositions that help people to make the most of their financial situation and plan for the unexpected. Prior to the creation of the Money Advice Service, Alice was a Senior Associate at the Financial Services Authority working on their National Strategy for Financial Capability. Responsible for addressing the needs of people who find themselves excluded from the financial system, Alice led their grant-giving programme.
"Before joining the FSA Alice ran SAFE, an influential financial inclusion initiative at Toynbee Hall, a charity in East London. During her time at there Alice was instrumental in establishing Transact, the national forum for financial inclusion, as well as developing key personal finance resources, including the Personal Finance Handbook with Child Poverty Action Group. Alice supported the initial development of Fair Finance and subsequently joined the Board in 2005."
