American Conservative Student Union
The purpose of the American Conservative Student Union (ACSU), the group states on its website that is "establishes, cultivates, and unites collegiately affiliated conservative policy organizations in order to better educate students, faculty, and staff about the conservative movement, providing them with the tools necessary to engage society through effective activism."
ACSU's former president, David Ferguson, is also the manager of AbsentCongress.org (web), a website launched February 15, 2007, "that tracks senatorial absenteeism."  AbsentCongress.org is "a project of the American Conservative Student Union (ACSU), an organization 'under the wing' of TheVanguard.org," its website] states.  "For now, AbsentCongress.org tracks only senators, but it plans to include House members soon," Sheffield wrote. 
- Matt Wolking, is the President and enrolled at Patrick Henry College in Northern Virginia.
- Alisa Cassil is Vice President and enrolled at The King’s College in New York City.
