Selling A Voluntary Code
Following widespread criticism of the UK drug industry in 2005 ABPI launched a revised version of its voluntary code of practice on marketing practices to take effect on January 1, 2006. In January 2006 PR Week reported that ABPI had hired Santé Communications to "handle a 'multi-faceted' campaign targeting all industry stakeholders from April."
