Compost produced from these feedstocks is used in soil blending and sold to retail and wholesale consumers. The Barnes Composting Facility is a division of Barnes Nusery, a full-service design-build landscaping, wholesale production nursery operation."[1] ("Biosolids" refers to sewage sludge.) Barnes Nursery is a member of the US Composting Council as well as the American Nursery & Landscape Association, Professional Landcare Network (PLANET), International Society of Arboriculture, Michigan Nursery & Landscape Association, Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association, and the Ohio Compost Association.[2]
