David Casas is a Republican member of the Georgia State Assembly. He serves on the following committees: Appropriations, Economic Development and Tourism (Vice Chairman), Education and Rules.
Casas is a member of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and on their Education Task Force, as of July 2011. He won the ALEC 2008 Legislator of the Year Award.
