A feasibility study is currently being undertaken on the proposed expansion. The expansion would produce 2.5 million tonnes of thermal coal. The project would cost $35 million to construct and employ 59 people when operating.
On its website, the company states that "as the project moves to feasibility stage, a detailed socio-economic assessment will be undertaken as part of the Environmental Assessment and will include impacts on employment, local infrastructure, housing and property values."
