Harold A. Richman
Harold A. Richman "has directed the Chapin Hall Center for Children at the University of Chicago since 1985. He has also been the Hermon Dunlap Smith Professor of Social Welfare Policy in the School of Social Service Administration and the College since 1969. He also holds the Quantrell Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching from the University of Chicago. In addition, he is chairman of the Israel Center on Children in Jerusalem, and Co-Chair of the Roundtable on Comprehensive Community Initiatives for Children and Families. He has authored many books and articles concerning children, family and communities, and has been a principal investigator of numerous foundation and government sponsored studies on policies and programs for children, family and communities. He holds a doctorate in social welfare policy from University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in American History and Literature from Harvard College."
