John Weber is President of Dezenhall Resources.


According to his biographical profile on the company website, he graduated in Political Science from Southern Methodist University and gained a masters degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. He started out in marketing with the Pillsbury Company, and subsequently with the Distilled Spirits Council and then two unnamed advertising agencies.[1]

He worked for Porter/Novelli for six years, "the final two as a vice president, working on a wide variety of food and health issues", the company website states. He subsequently worked as vice president of Shandwick Public Affairs, then known as Kaufman Public Relations between 1990 and 1992 before joining Hill & Knowlton "where he was a senior vice president from 1992 to 1996".[1]

Weber joined Nichols-Dezenhall in 1996. "As executive vice president he is responsible for all client-related services and programs. He also directs several human resource and staff recruitment and development functions. Currently, John personally supervises the firm's work for clients in the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industries," his biographical profile states.[1]

He is a trustee of the Food Institute and "has spoken frequently before university and trade group audiences on crisis management, company and product boycotts and food-safety related issues".[1]
