Kinsley Van R. Dey, Jr. (pronounced "Dye") was President and CEO of Liggett from 1988-89. He was on the Board of Directors from 1988 to 1989.
Dey has knowledge of Liggett Group, Inc.'s and the tobacco industry's, participation in public fraud and disinformation concerning the health hazards of tobacco use, the manipulation of nicotine in tobacco products and in marketing of tobacco products to children. 
Kinsley R. Dey, Jr. was born July 24, 1924 in Nadick, Massachusetts. He married Patricia, and had three children, Kinsley III, Pamela and Frederick. Dey graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1948 with a B.A. in English. Beyond that, he had no formal degrees. After graduating University, he spent three months trying to play professional football. He was then employed by Lorillard as a sales representative in the Boston area for several months, and then took a job as a salesman for Minute Maid around 1949. He started with Liggett Group in February 1975 as assistant to the President, Raymond J. Mulligan. 
Dey was employed by Liggett Group, Inc. and served as President, Chief Executive Officer and was on the Board of Directors from 1988 to 1989.
