Latur power station
Latur power station is a proposed 1,500-megawatt (MW) coal plant in Maharashtra, India.

According to a November 2010 company presentation, the project was in the "planning and engineering" phase and is scheduled for operation in late 2016."
On its website (April 2014), Mahagenco lists the project as target for 2017-2018 and describes the status as follows: "Subject to availability of fuel. Land acquisition and other tie-ups in progress."
As of April 2015 the project has yet to receive environmental permits and no longer appears on Mahagenco's website. It appears to be cancelled.
