Reemstma was a privately-owned German cigarette group in 1991, and one of the biggest international tobacco marketers in 1994. The full name is Reemtsma Cigarettenfabriken GmbH. In 2002, the European Union Commission cleared the takeover of Reemtsma by Imperial Tobacco Company for 5.8 billion euros.
Reemstma's brands include West, Davidoff and Peter Stuyvesant.
