Riptide Communications is a leading full-service public relations firm for Progressive clientele. Riptide, based in New York City, was founded in 1989 by current president, David Lerner.
Riptide provides press, strategic communications, and public relations services to groups and individuals committed to Progressive social change. In the February 15, 2003 anti-war protest Riptide helped to organize hundreds of thousands of protesters to the streets of Manhattan  .
