Tony King, Conservation & Reintroduction Coordinator, The Aspinall Foundation.

"Tony promotes close links between the University of Kent and the Kent-based wildlife conservation charity The Aspinall Foundation, especially by providing research opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks, and through collaboration on various in situ conservation programmes run by the Foundation. These include programmes based at long-term field sites managed by the Foundation in the Republics of Congo, Gabon, Indonesia and Madagascar, all of which Tony is closely involved with, having spent over 10 years working in country on the Congo and Madagascar programmes. Tony has published extensively on various conservation topics including gorilla reintroduction, lemur conservation, protected area management, biodiversity surveys, species distribution surveys, community-based conservation, and conservation genetics. Tony is a member of the IUCN Reintroduction and Primate Specialist Groups." [1]
